A new diplomatic mechanic where players can subjugate other civilizations or offer themselves as a vassal. Vassals provide tribute and support their masters in war but may secede if they regain enough power.
Three new leader traits— Charismatic (+1 happiness, faster promotions), Imperialistic (faster Great General generation, faster Settlers), and Protective (free promotions for archery/gunpowder units). Scenarios and Wonders

A new type of Great Person that emerges through combat experience rather than birth rate. They can be used to lead an army for a massive experience boost, build a Military Academy for faster unit production, or join a city as a Military Instructor.
