Washboard_decompose_improper_wing.7z [ Tested & Working ]
Right-click the model and select Shade Smooth . Use "Auto Smooth" (at 30 degrees) to keep the wing edges crisp while smoothing the washboard surface. 🚀 Step 4: Final Implementation
If you are using this to fix a 3D model (like a car spoiler or aircraft wing): Load the main mesh. Identify "Improper" Areas: Washboard_Decompose_Improper_Wing.7z
This breaks the "Improper Wing" into individual components for easier cleaning. Select all vertices ( A ). Press Shift + N to recalculate outside normals. 🎨 Step 3: Texturing and Shading Right-click the model and select Shade Smooth
Check if the "Decompose" step separated vertices that should be merged. Use Merge by Distance . Identify "Improper" Areas: This breaks the "Improper Wing"
This is often caused by poor vertex normals or overlapping faces. In Edit Mode, press P > Separate by Loose Parts .
Ensure the .7z was extracted with "Full Pathnames" enabled.
