The story begins at the bottom of a , where the displaced residents of Donut County are gathered around a campfire. Among them is Mira , a human girl, and BK , a self-centered raccoon who runs a local donut shop.
The story shifts when the , the head of the raccoon startup, arrives to collect the "treasure" (the town's junk). Mira and a newly repentant BK team up to take him down. BK's greed eventually backfires when he accidentally swallows himself and his shop, landing in the same pit as the neighbors he displaced. Mira, his best friend and moral anchor, confronts him about his reckless behavior.
