The roots of the track trace back to 2016, when artist Lartiste released the original version of "Clandestina". Fast-forward to 2019, when Siberian music producers FILV and Edmofo decided to breathe new electronic life into the record.
To pull off the transformation, they enlisted French singer Emma Peters. Known for her melancholic and acoustic covers, Peters brought a raw, emotionally stripped-back vocal layer that starkly contrasted with the high-energy beats typical of modern club music.
