In September 2022, actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney partnered with the Colorectal Cancer Alliance to launch the "Lead From Behind" campaign, filming their colonoscopies to raise awareness for screenings and highlight the recommended age of 45. The initiative, which later included actor Terry Crews, resulted in the detection of polyps in the actors and drove a 36% increase in bookings on the Zocdoc platform.
